Four years ago this month, I became a vegan. That lasted for about six months until I downgraded to vegetarian for 2 1/2 years, and then abruptly fell off the meatless bandwagon. I imagine most meat-free eaters progress in the opposite direction (omnivore —> vegetarian —> vegan), but you can’t rebel if you’re moving with the crowd, right? ;-)
